        KG Metal Coatings & Lubricants
  • KG-1 Carbon Remover
KG-1 was initially formulated for exclusive use by a military group to remove carbon buildup from their weapons. Unlike other Cleaners, KG-1 contains no ammonia and is pH neutral. KG-1 is ideal for removing carbon from black powder rifles.

  • KG-2 Bore Restore
Originally developed to maintain the bore integrity of sniper rifles, KG-2 is being introduced to the public to provide shooters with a product that will actually improve the condition of the bore while cleaning it. Like KG-1, KG-2 contains no ammonia and uses a mechanical method to remove the worst of copper, lead and powder residue. KG-2 can be used when shooting numerous rounds in between cleanings or as a bore conditioner for those weapons needing extra care. KG-2 is an ideal product for fire polishing (A technique finer than Fire Lapping).

  • KG-3 Cleaning Solvent & Degreaser
KG-3 is a non-chlorinated ozone safe formula used to remove the residue loosened by KG-1 and KG-2 and is also used for cleaning and decreasing parts. KG-3 contains a special formulation of fast drying, water-displacing solvents which will rapidly cut through oil and grease, leaving no residue.

  • KG-4 Gun Oil
KG-4 was the only oil to pass the original requirements set forth in Mil-L-63460D. It is a blend of the finest lubricants available, and contains no synthetics. With very low surface tension, KG-4 exhibits excellent lubrication and provides outstanding corrosion protection. KG-4 has the added property of keeping current firing residue in suspension which allows for easier cleaning. KG-4 has been field tested for endurance using 50 caliber machine guns. Initially the 50s were experiencing stoppages at 750 to 1000 rounds. After using KG-4 (CLP2) the guns were fired and stopped at 6000 rounds due to heat and to clean the weapons.

  • KG-5 Trigger Lube
KG-5 is a blend of our Gun oil, thinned and sub-micron Teflon. The Teflon is ground in a proprietary carrier and the added to the thinned oil base. This blend has produced an excellent lubricant especially for triggers. KG-5 provides excellent lubrication, penetration and corrosion protection. KG-5 will keep trigger pulls even and smooth.

  • KG-6 Moly Armorkote Bore Prep
Based on past and recent test resutls KG-6 was developed to offer the advantages of Moly to both reloaders and those who buy factory ammo. KG-6 is unlike the greases you are used to seeing. Formulated with Molybdenum Disulfide suspended in a fine oil, our finished product is a superior lubricant, does not need to be shaken and has an affinity for metal. KG-6 is much easier to use than the grease products presently on the market. KG-6 will embed a very thin film of Moly onto the bore that will aid in less bore fouling. Most shooters today are reporting 50 to 100 round strings without cleaning.

  • KG-7 Moly Armorkote Powder
KG Products is now offering for sale the same Molybdenum Disulfide used in our Bullet Kote, Gear Kote, and Gun Kote. This is simply the best quality Molybdenum available on the market today. There are only three grades of Molybdenum Disulfide: Technical Grade, Technical Fine and Super Fine or what used to be known as Suspension Grade. KG products uses only the finest Suspension Grade or Technical Fine grades available. We have to! Our coatings are used by some of the best racers and gunsmiths around the world! Both Technical Fine and Super Fine powders work in all tumbler applications

  • KG-8 Micro PTFE Dri Lube
THE DRY TEFLON - NO MESS LUBRICANT. Teflon Dry Lube is new technology, incorporating a highly effective P.T.F.E. Teflon. This new technology grinds the Teflon Molecule to half of its molecular weight creating a low surface tension lube. The result produces a multi purpose lubricant which greatly reduces friction and wear more effectively then the normal Teflon. Use Teflon Dry Lube where a dry no-mess lubricant is required, i.e. triggers, slides, etc. It is especially useful for conceal and carry weapons where oil can be a problem
